Content Growth Manager YouTube (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential renewable energy company, is seeking a Content Growth Manager to lead their YouTube channel strategy. Working with our talent team at Get A Job.ai, you'll be representing a fast-growing organization at the forefront of the energy transition.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and own the end-to-end YouTube strategy and editorial calendar
• Build a proactive community management approach that actively responds to negative comments and videos, including creating response formats
• Develop and produce diverse video formats: long-form customer journeys, intentionally simple customer shorts, and in-depth explainer videos
• Launch initial live streaming formats
• Measure and optimize YouTube's contribution to lead generation and sales funnel conversions
• Collaborate closely with content, community management, and organic search teams to leverage YouTube for visibility in AI search results

What We're Looking For

• Two to four years of YouTube experience where you drove measurable channel growth at a brand, media company, agency, or as a creator
• Format-first thinking: you design content in series, hooks, and narrative arcs rather than topic lists, and can diagnose why a video loses viewers at the 12-second mark
• Data fluency: YouTube Analytics is your primary working tool; you make decisions based on retention metrics, not personal preferences
• Content craft: you write compelling scripts and titles, brief editors and thumbnail designers precisely, and identify weak content before publication (video editing skills welcome but not required)
• Creator collaboration experience: you've worked with creators or influencers and understand what makes partnerships feel authentic
• Self-starter mentality: you arrive with format ideas, test plans, and informed opinions rather than waiting for direction
• Native-level German and professional working proficiency in English
