This role suits a driven sales professional who understands government procurement processes, security requirements, and the unique landscape of federal IT buying.
Core Duties
- Identify and qualify enterprise cybersecurity opportunities within federal government institutions across Canada
- Conduct needs assessments and tailored solution demonstrations aligned with federal security and compliance requirements
- Build and manage relationships with government executives, procurement teams, and IT security decision-makers
- Develop comprehensive proposals and negotiate commercial terms with complex stakeholders
- Collaborate with systems engineers, solutions architects, and customer success teams to ensure deal success
- Manage pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate opportunity records and customer insights
- Stay informed on federal IT procurement cycles, security standards, and government buying patterns
Who We're Looking For
- Proven success closing enterprise deals in cybersecurity, IT governance, risk management, or compliance solutions
- Demonstrated experience selling to federal government clients, public sector organizations, or heavily regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity challenges, enterprise risk frameworks, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business outcomes for clients
- Self-directed, disciplined approach to prospecting and sales execution
- Available to work remotely within Canada, with flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed
