Early Childhood Teacher (PT)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential education organization seeking a part-time Remote Early Childhood Math Teacher to work with preschool and kindergarten-aged students.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and deliver online math classes for young learners on a weekly basis (10-20 classes per week)
• Participate in paid training by observing experienced teachers and learning instructional methods
• Conduct trial sessions with prospective students to assess appropriate placement
• Grade student work and communicate regularly with parents about progress and areas for improvement (3-5 hours weekly)
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by the teaching management team

Typical work hours are approximately 2:00pm–8:00pm Thursday through Sunday. Weekend availability is required. Non-teaching hours offer flexibility, with class schedules taking priority.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any field (Education or STEM majors preferred)
• Prior math teaching experience is a plus but not required
• High energy, enthusiasm, and strong ability to engage young children effectively
• Availability to work 20-30 hours per week, primarily Thursday–Sunday afternoons and evenings
• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with parents
• Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and timely communication habits

Pay

Our client offers competitive compensation structured as follows:

• Teaching hours: $35 per hour
• Administrative hours (lesson preparation, grading, parent communication): $16-$22 per hour

This is a W-2 part-time position with remote flexibility. The client also provides paid training and opportunities for professional growth into management roles for high-performing teachers.
