About the Role
This part-time position (5 hours per week) offers music instruction to our youngest students in an intimate, faith-centered learning environment. You'll cultivate a love of music and rhythm in preschoolers and first graders, using age-appropriate methods that align with Catholic values and educational best practices.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver engaging music lessons for preschool and first-grade classes
- Teach music fundamentals including rhythm, melody, singing, and basic instrument skills
- Integrate Catholic traditions and values into music instruction where appropriate
- Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where all young learners feel confident participating
- Communicate regularly with classroom teachers and families about student progress
- Support school events and performances as needed
