Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan, configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points to support stable network operations
• Monitor traffic patterns, identify bottlenecks and implement capacity upgrades that improve throughput and reduce latency
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues end-to-end using diagnostic tools and apply permanent fixes that prevent recurrence
• Enforce security policies through access-control lists, VPN tunnels and segmentation measures aligned with best practice
• Document network topology, change records and recovery procedures so colleagues can act confidently during incidents
• Collaborate with systems and cloud teams to integrate hybrid environments and validate end-to-end service continuity
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and provide post-change verification of performance metrics

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or equivalent position supporting medium-to-large production infrastructures
• Hands-on expertise with common vendor platforms, routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, and modern switching standards
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, network monitoring suites and basic scripting for automation
• Relevant certifications (for example CCNA or equivalent) that demonstrate professional competency
