About the Role

The Academic Resource Center is the hub of student support at Archbishop Murphy. As Director, you'll lead all academic support services, design intervention programs, and create systems that help students overcome learning barriers and reach their potential. This position requires both instructional expertise and administrative vision—you'll oversee day-to-day operations while setting strategic priorities aligned with the school's mission and Catholic identity.

What You'll Do

• Direct the Academic Resource Center's programs, staff, and services with a focus on student achievement and skill development
• Develop and implement academic intervention strategies, tutoring protocols, and support structures
• Assess student learning needs and design differentiated support pathways
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align resource center services with curriculum and student progress
• Manage scheduling, staffing, budget, and resource allocation for the center
• Track student outcomes and adjust programs based on data and measurable results
• Mentor and supervise learning specialists and tutoring staff
• Participate in school leadership and contribute to the Catholic educational community

What We're Looking For

• Current or recently held teaching license and active experience in secondary education
• Expertise in learning strategies, assessment, and supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Proven ability to lead programs, manage teams, and think strategically
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with faculty and families
• Commitment to Catholic education and the school's mission
• Organizational skills and comfort with data-informed decision making
