Facility Host

Lutheran Hospital is seeking a dependable and welcoming Facility Host to serve as the face of our facility and ensure every patient and visitor feels supported from the moment they arrive.

About the Role

As a full-time Facility Host at Lutheran Hospital, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day patient experience. This position combines front-of-house hospitality with patient account responsibilities, including billing, follow-up, and resolving issues that may delay or prevent timely payment — all in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
• Manage patient account billing processes and conduct timely follow-up
• Identify and resolve obstacles that delay or prevent account payment
• Ensure all activity aligns with organizational policies and procedures
• Provide consistent, courteous service across all facility interactions

Schedule & Employment Details

• Full-time position — 40 hours per week
• Shift hours: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Alternating weekend availability required
• Pay rate based on experience
• Full benefits included

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing or patient-service environment preferred
• Familiarity with medical billing or account follow-up processes is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work early morning shifts and alternating weekends
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to resolve issues independently
