Director of Partnerships

About This Opportunity

We are representing a profitable, high-growth fintech platform in their search for a Director of Partnerships. Our client serves over 20,000 organizations globally with their digital payout solution, and they're looking for a strategic leader to build their partner-led growth motion from the ground up.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the Americas. You'll be joining a documentation-first, low-meeting culture that prioritizes deep work and professional autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the partner-led growth motion from scratch, starting with creation of a referral partner program that becomes a scalable growth channel
• Develop and deepen relationships with referral partners and platform clients that drive meaningful pipeline and revenue
• Establish clear positioning, enablement, and go-to-market alignment so partners understand when, how, and why to recommend our client's solution
• Create programs and incentives that keep partners engaged and consistently referring business
• Serve as the connective tissue between partners and internal teams, ensuring coordination across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations
• Identify gaps in structure, tooling, or process and create solutions that help partners succeed at scale
• Use data and field feedback to prioritize opportunities, refine strategy, and guide investment in the partner ecosystem

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building or scaling partnerships, programs, or revenue-adjacent initiatives in ambiguous environments
• Demonstrated ability to own outcomes, whether pipeline or revenue focused
• Strong judgment and prioritization skills with the ability to distinguish what needs to be built now versus later
• Track record of working cross-functionally and moving initiatives forward without formal authority
• Builder mindset: you enjoy starting from scratch, testing ideas, and converting successful experiments into repeatable playbooks
• Clear, thoughtful communication skills, especially in written form—our client operates in a documentation-first, low-meeting environment
• High ownership and autonomy; you take initiative, follow through, and don't wait for direction

Pay

Base salary range: $190,000 - $220,000. On-target earnings (OTE): $250,000 - $272,000. Our client also offers equity as part of the total compensation package.

Benefits include 100% covered health insurance (US-based employees), unlimited PTO, and 12-16 weeks of paid parental leave.
