About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional at Beacon Specialized Living, you'll provide compassionate, person-centered support to adults in Menomonie and Dunn County who are building independent lives. You'll work closely with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or autism, helping them achieve their personal goals and participate fully in their communities. This part-time role emphasizes reliability, dignity, and genuine connection—supporting people in ways that matter.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence and self-determination
• Support community integration and participation in activities meaningful to each person
• Help coordinate and facilitate appointments, outings, and community involvement
• Monitor and report on individual health, safety, and well-being
• Document support provided and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with team members to implement person-centered support plans
• Respond to immediate needs with patience, respect, and professionalism
