DevOps/ML Engineer (m/f/d)

We're seeking a DevOps/ML Engineer to join their growing technical team working on cutting-edge projects in machine learning and data infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to work across banking, insurance, automotive, retail, and other sectors, implementing cloud-based solutions and modern MLOps practices. You'll be based in Munich with flexible remote options and excellent professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design technical architectures for data-intensive applications with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Implement solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premises customer infrastructures
• Automate workflows using DevOps and MLOps best practices to reduce time-to-delivery
• Build monitoring, failover, and recovery infrastructure for production machine learning systems in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into production-ready technical solutions
• Work alongside enterprise architects, data scientists, and data engineers on data warehouses, data lakes, and data platforms

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or related field
• Practical experience with DevOps/MLOps principles and cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Exposure to platforms like Databricks
• Strong communication skills with ability to present analytical results to management
• Fluent in both English and German
• Interest across the data lifecycle: cloud infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, visualization, ML engineering, and MLOps

Preferred:

• Working experience with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and programming languages including Python, Java, and Scala
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data lakes
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark), streaming (Apache Kafka), and workflow orchestration (Apache Airflow, Dagster)
