Devops Engineer (Azure)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a DevOps Engineer (Azure) for their Argentina-based operations. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is conducting the initial search and screening for this role, which focuses on cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and Azure platform expertise.

This is a full-time position where you'll collaborate with development and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain critical systems while ensuring infrastructure reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage automation processes for software build, deployment, and configuration across Azure environments
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and ARM Templates
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, including build, test, and deployment phases
• Develop and implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
• Implement and maintain security best practices including Azure AD, Key Vault, and Network Security Groups
• Work closely with software developers and system administrators to design and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Proactively identify and address issues related to system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Provide support for development and operations teams, addressing build failures, deployment problems, and system outages
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and resolve critical incidents

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Experience with Azure services including App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, SQL Database, and Monitor
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Certified (current or expired) in at least one of the following: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
