Data Science & Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and implement supervised and unsupervised ML models including OLS, logistic regression, and ensemble methods for business applications
• Lead development of advanced neural network architectures: ANN, CNN, RNN, GAN, Transformers, and ResNet
• Drive NLP projects using NLTK and neural language models
• Oversee computer vision model development with OpenCV
• Lead time-series forecasting and anomaly detection initiatives
• Apply AI techniques including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Chain of Thought (CoT), and Model of Alignment (MOA)
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch processing
• Architect lakehouse solutions using Delta/Iceberg with bronze-silver-gold patterns
• Develop ETL processes with Airflow, DBT, and Airbyte
• Design and optimize database models for OLTP and OLAP systems using Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• Implement NoSQL solutions with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch
• Build cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure leveraging Lambda, API Gateway, Batch, Kinesis, and Kafka
• Oversee MLOps pipelines using Sagemaker, Databricks, and Azure ML Studio
• Develop BI dashboards with Tableau, QuickSight, and PowerBI
• Implement GPU acceleration and CUDA for model training
• Mentor junior team members on AI/ML best practices

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or data engineering
• Proven expertise in supervised and unsupervised ML with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and neural network architectures
• Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Numpy
• Proficiency in LLM development using Langchain, Huggingface, and OpenAI libraries
• Strong MLOps skills with production deployment experience using Sagemaker, Databricks, or Azure ML Studio
• Advanced skills in Apache Spark, Glue, and EMR for distributed model training
• Expertise in ETL pipeline development with Airflow, DBT, and Airbyte
• Deep knowledge of lakehouse architectures (Delta/Iceberg) and data quality frameworks like Great Expectations
• Proficiency in AWS (preferred) or Azure cloud platforms with experience in IAM, VPC networking, Lambda, API Gateway, Batch, Kinesis, and Kafka
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Advanced skills in GPU acceleration, CUDA, and distributed training
• Proven ability to architect and deploy scalable ML and data-intensive systems
• Expertise in database modeling for OLTP/OLAP and both relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD in Data Science or related field preferred
• AWS or Azure certification strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
