Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential e-commerce organization in Brazil, is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join their platform engineering team. In this role, you will:

• Develop high-performance, scalable, interactive, and responsive user interfaces for a proprietary e-commerce platform
• Write code, perform unit testing, deploy, monitor production systems, and ensure application stability
• Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response for the squad's communication channels
• Serve as a technical reference for the team, supporting development through code reviews and pair programming
• Lead the evolution and maturity of the e-commerce platform front-end, exploring new technologies and defining architectural standards
• Execute efficient migration of legacy code (Angular) to modern standard technologies (React)
• Collaborate closely with technology teams across e-commerce, infrastructure, DevOps, and marketplace
• Maintain updated technical documentation and actively participate in product implementation decisions with an ownership mindset

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• Advanced expertise in React and its modern ecosystem
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Practical knowledge of Angular for legacy code migration projects
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and e2e), Git version control, and REST API integration
• Proven ability to optimize page load times, performance, accessibility, and front-end conversion
• Solid understanding of software architecture including Design Systems and Micro Front-ends
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, or similar)
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and with CI/CD practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fullstack or back-end development experience
• Previous work with e-commerce platforms and marketplace ecosystems
• Knowledge of GraphQL, monorepos, and Google Core Web Vitals
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS/GCP), serverless architectures (AWS Lambda), and DevOps culture (Docker, Kubernetes)
