Google Cloud, Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud services organization seeking a Google Cloud Project Manager to own end-to-end execution of client onboarding and Google solution deployments. This is a remote position based in the United States.

In this role, you will manage concurrent technical projects spanning Google Workspace migrations, data transfers, third-party integrations, and change management initiatives. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and client relationship management, leading deployment engineers and trainers while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Google Cloud best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own project initiation, planning, execution, and closure across 3–6+ concurrent Google Workspace migrations and technical projects
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for client stakeholders, IT directors, and executive sponsors
• Translate technical concepts into clear business updates for non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with Google Certified Deployment Engineers, Change Management Trainers, and Solution Architects to schedule resources, assign tasks, and track deliverables
• Proactively identify project risks, technical dependencies, and potential bottlenecks
• Lead formal change control processes to manage scope creep and project timelines
• Coordinate user training and change management strategies to ensure smooth end-user adoption during legacy email/data migrations (e.g., Microsoft 365 / Exchange to Google Workspace)
• Ensure project deliverables meet Google Cloud deployment standards, security baselines, and agreed-upon client SLAs

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of technical project management experience delivering cloud migrations, SaaS onboarding, or IT deployment projects in a consulting or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
• Deep familiarity with Google Workspace administration, domain migration paths, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) fundamentals
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a track record of driving high client satisfaction scores
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana) and native Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet)
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Certifications:

• Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Workspace Administrator / Deployment Specialist certification
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile certification

Pay

The client has indicated a salary range of $60,000–$70,000 annually for this position. Compensation is reflective of many factors including market location, education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Variable compensation may be applicable based on the role but is not reflected in these figures.
