As a Data Platform Engineer, you'll work at the center of the business, tackling complex challenges while taking ownership of your areas of responsibility. This role is fundamentally about problem-solving: understanding business needs, breaking them down, and delivering pragmatic, scalable solutions. You'll collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams, operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the data platform infrastructure to enable fast, iterative analytics across the organization
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and systems that maintain reliability, cost-efficiency, and security
• Work with modern cloud technologies including AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather context, align requirements, and ensure solutions land effectively
• Proactively shape how teams interact with data, moving from idea to insight quickly
• Manage multiple workstreams while maintaining momentum and quality
• Leverage AI tooling and continuously improve ways of working

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills:

• Solid programming ability in Python or similar languages
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable data warehouses
• Good understanding of software engineering patterns and architectures
• Experience building data-intensive systems
• Cloud platform experience, preferably AWS
• Infrastructure as code expertise, ideally Terraform or Terragrunt
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices
• Familiarity with modern data architectures such as Lambda or Kappa patterns
• Experience with technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, dbt, or Fivetran is beneficial
