Senior Business Operations Specialist

We are representing a confidential global professional services organization in their search for a Senior Business Operations Specialist to support their Software Engineering Centre of Excellence. This position is based in Pakistan and offers the opportunity to work within a large-scale technology environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support operational management activities across the software engineering function, including project intake, onboarding, and operational readiness coordination
• Drive operational process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across delivery teams
• Manage resource tracking, allocation, and capacity reporting for engineering squads and teams
• Support financial tracking activities including revenue monitoring, cost management, forecasting, purchase order coordination, invoicing, and budget reporting
• Maintain governance trackers, dashboards, and leadership reporting mechanisms to track delivery metrics, utilization, project health, and operational risks
• Coordinate contract administration and vendor management activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Support workforce planning and recruitment activities in collaboration with HR and delivery leadership
• Maintain operational documentation, compliance records, and support audit and procurement activities as required
• Provide executive reporting, presentations, and operational insights to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• 8–10 years of experience in Business Operations, PMO, Delivery Operations, or Technology Operations roles
• Demonstrated experience working within software engineering, technology delivery, or Agile environments
• Strong understanding of financial tracking, reporting, resource management, and governance processes
• Proficiency with operational and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
• Strong operational coordination and organizational capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Financial tracking and reporting expertise with attention to detail
• Resource and workforce management experience in technology environments
• Governance and compliance management capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset
• Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multiple delivery teams
• Certifications in Agile, Project Management, Operations, or Business Process Management are advantageous
