Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential cleantech organization in London that's scaling rapidly. They're seeking a Data Scientist who thrives on full-stack ownership—from initial data exploration through to production deployment. This role offers the chance to work on real-world energy optimization challenges at significant scale.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models that operate reliably at scale in production environments
• Develop deep domain expertise in energy markets, grid dynamics, and trading strategies
• Own the complete lifecycle of data science projects from research and prototyping through to productionized solutions
• Write clean, production-quality code and contribute to robust, scalable systems
• Work beyond notebooks to deliver real-world, operational solutions that move the business forward
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and clients as needed (this is a hands-on, multi-faceted role)

What We're Looking For

Essential skills:

• Strong Python programming skills with a focus on production-quality code
• Proven ability to take models from research to production at scale
• Instinct for identifying and delivering commercial value through data science
• Comfort owning projects end-to-end without heavy oversight

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of electricity systems and power trading
• Experience working with time-series data
• Comfort communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with Docker, GCP, and modern deployment practices

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £75,000 – £200,000 total compensation (base salary plus equity)

This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office near Farringdon.
