Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, you will:
- Gather and analyze technical requirements to ensure optimal configuration of marketing automation platforms within clients' existing technology stacks
- Develop comprehensive functional design specifications that outline workflows, user journeys, and business rules to deliver scalable solutions
- Design end-to-end architectures that bridge business objectives and technical execution, ensuring seamless integration across the broader technology ecosystem
- Build and manage complex data structures, including user attributes and event tracking, to support personalized customer experiences
- Utilize advanced segmentation tools to design dynamic audience segments based on user behaviors, preferences, and lifecycle stages
- Implement sophisticated multi-channel campaign flows incorporating automated messaging triggers and real-time customer interactions
- Provide detailed documentation and define integration points to ensure seamless data flow across platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategists and technical producers to deliver client solutions
- Travel occasionally (up to 20%) to client sites for strategic discussions
- Manage time effectively to meet quarterly billable hour targets in a professional services environment
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the marketing technology industry
- 3 or more platform certifications in leading marketing automation tools (Braze Marketer, Braze Digital Strategist, or equivalent), or ability to obtain them quickly after starting
- Working knowledge of Liquid, APIs, SDKs, data modeling, and data ingestion processes
- Demonstrated experience developing and documenting custom technical solutions
- Strong ability to articulate marketing technology best practices and translate them into practical implementation recommendations
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagements, balancing priorities effectively
- Excellent strategic and technical thinking with ability to envision holistic solutions aligned to customer objectives
- Confidence leading customer-facing discussions and presentations
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Agility to adapt and consult on unfamiliar technologies with enthusiasm and curiosity
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to travel up to 20%
