Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential organization seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a direct hire, permanent role in Atlanta, Fulton County. This is a full-time W2 salaried position within the client's IT department. You will be responsible for protecting enterprise systems, implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Day-to-day duties include vulnerability assessments, incident response, security architecture reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, network security, and threat detection
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM platforms, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
