IT Trainer, Tier 1

Overview

We are representing a confidential government agency seeking an IT Trainer, Tier 1 to join their technology team in Grand Central, Manhattan. This is an excellent opportunity for a training professional who excels at empowering end users through clear, effective technical instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 1 IT training to staff across various technical skill levels
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and documentation
• Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions on core business applications and systems
• Provide hands-on support during technology rollouts and system transitions
• Assess training effectiveness and adapt curriculum based on user feedback
• Collaborate with IT teams to understand new tools and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Maintain training schedules and track completion metrics

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering end-user IT training in a professional environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience developing training materials and documentation
• Familiarity with common business applications and operating systems
• Patient, service-oriented approach to adult learners

Pay
