Controller Vertriebs- und Performance-Controlling (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential energy and telecommunications organization with operations across the DACH region. Our client is seeking a Controller for Sales and Performance Controlling to join their finance team in Berlin. This role offers the opportunity to drive data-based decision-making across multiple business units while working with modern analytics tools and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own sales controlling for two subsidiary companies through continuous monitoring of relevant KPIs
• Derive actionable recommendations and support initiatives to achieve sales targets
• Create and continuously improve regular evaluations, reports, and analyses
• Review and quality-assure customer communications based on underlying XML data, particularly regarding pricing information and distribution volume
• Analyze capacity utilization across various departments and identify optimization potential
• Identify opportunities to increase productivity and process efficiency
• Develop appropriate metrics and management instruments for operational departments
• Prepare decision-making materials for executive leadership and management
• Collaborate closely with sales and operational departments as a business partner
• Continuously develop existing controlling processes and instruments

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable field
• Strong numerical aptitude with an analytical and structured working style
• Interest in business relationships and data-driven questions
• Proficient use of MS Excel (required)
• Knowledge of Power BI and/or SQL (advantageous)
• High attention to detail and sense of responsibility, particularly when reviewing data and commercial information
• Ability to analyze complex situations and present findings clearly
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with diverse departments
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working approach
