Senior Product Manager – Investment & Pension Products (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading European fintech organization in their search for a Senior Product Manager to join their Investment and Pension Products division in Berlin. Our client operates at the intersection of capital markets, technology, and regulatory complexity, building products that make sophisticated financial services accessible and transparent. This is an opportunity to own end-to-end product strategy for a high-impact domain within a scaling fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Own one of the organization's investment and pension product areas from problem discovery through delivery, adoption, and measurable business impact
• Develop deep expertise in your product area including customer needs, market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape to identify high-leverage opportunities
• Shape and maintain a value-driven 12-month roadmap that balances strategic initiatives, product improvements, and platform needs while managing stakeholder alignment through clear communication and trade-off decisions
• Set and track quarterly OKRs with your Engineering Lead, ensuring plans are measurable, grounded, and connected to broader business strategy with accountability for outcomes
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data/Analytics, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences
• Communicate effectively through written product artifacts including PRDs, user journeys, wireframes, sequence diagrams, experiment plans, and release notes to enable autonomous team execution

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• At least 3 years of hands-on Product Management experience leading cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated success defining, launching, and scaling complex products that combine deep technical systems, non-trivial business logic, and high operational or regulatory constraints
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders including Engineering, Design, Business, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to drive alignment on product vision and prioritization
• Sufficient technical fluency to sketch high-level solutions to product problems in software design artifacts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Owner's mentality with ability to tackle challenges head-on and drive solutions with conviction
• Highly data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making, including ability to define KPIs, create product impact dashboards, and synthesize data into actionable requirements
• Track record of leveraging qualitative customer interviews and quantitative product usage data to validate assumptions and drive product strategy

Bonus qualifications:

• Fluency in German
• Experience with investment products, preferably at a European fintech, investment firm, or bank's investment division
• Experience with Looker or similar analytical tools
