About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing organization seeking a Content Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve AI-powered systems behind modern content production. This is not a traditional copywriting role—you'll own the systems that move content from initial insight through final delivery, creating high-quality work at scale through intelligent workflows.

Reporting to senior content operations leadership, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries, quickly learning new audiences, business models, brand voices, and regulatory considerations. This position offers remote flexibility across most US states, with optional access to office hubs for collaboration and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI-powered content production workflows spanning research, ideation, strategy inputs, briefing, drafting, optimization, editing, quality assurance, repurposing, and delivery
• Own content development across a portfolio of approximately 1–6 client accounts across various industries, depending on scope
• Write and edit across multiple formats including website copy, landing pages, articles, thought leadership, campaign concepts, email, social media, paid media, scripts, and sales enablement materials
• Build reusable prompt libraries, templates, agents, evaluation criteria, and editorial guardrails that improve speed, consistency, and quality
• Evaluate AI-generated work for accuracy, originality, relevance, bias, brand alignment, and editorial quality before client delivery
• Conduct research, interview subject-matter experts, verify claims, and transform complex information into accessible, persuasive content
• Identify friction in content-production processes and develop practical solutions that increase team effectiveness
• Test emerging AI models and content technologies, document findings, and help establish responsible best practices
• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, editorial, content strategy, or related creative discipline
• Portfolio demonstrating strong writing and editing across multiple formats, audiences, brand voices, and industries
• Exceptional command of language, structure, grammar, storytelling, and persuasive communication
• Working knowledge of established editorial standards and style guides, with strong fact-checking and quality-control instincts
• Hands-on experience using generative AI throughout the content-development process—beyond simple one-off drafting
• Ability to explain how you prompt, evaluate, edit, and improve AI-assisted work, including where human judgment must take over
• Experience building custom AI assistants, lightweight agents, automated content workflows, and evaluation frameworks using platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar LLM-based tools
• Working familiarity with analytics, SEO, keyword research, and social listening platforms including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, and Hootsuite
• Ability to translate performance data and audience insights into stronger content
• Experience creating repeatable content workflows, templates, prompt systems, or other tools that improve quality and production efficiency
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, collaboration, and feedback-management skills

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, based on your experience, skills, and location.
