About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is experiencing rapid growth in the U.S. market. Our client is seeking a Short Form Communications specialist to lead their social media presence and reactive content strategy.

This role reports directly to senior leadership and requires someone who lives and breathes social media—specifically X (formerly Twitter). You'll be responsible for shaping the company's voice, responding to trends in real-time, and creating high-volume, experimental content that drives engagement and conversation.

Responsibilities

• Manage reactive and proactive communications primarily on X
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define and maintain consistent voice across social accounts
• Monitor X constantly to identify trending topics, sentiment shifts, and engagement opportunities
• Produce high-volume content with emphasis on experimentation and rapid iteration rather than perfectionism
• Test different approaches, analyze performance, and continuously refine strategy
• Opportunity to contribute longer-form thought leadership pieces or blog posts as desired

What We're Looking For

• Currently spend the majority of your day actively on X—this is not a "nice to have" but a core requirement
• Already operate a personal or business account on X with demonstrated engagement
• Ideally based in or willing to relocate to New York City for office-based work (remote considered for exceptional candidates)
• Strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in: journalism, comedy/creative writing, digital campaign strategy, crypto/web3 communities, or prediction markets
• Comfortable with high output and rapid experimentation over polished, infrequent posts
• Ownership mentality—able to figure things out independently and take initiative
