Colour Material Experience Designer im Bereich Bus-Design (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential transportation manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Colour Material Experience Designer for their bus design division in Munich. In this role, you will:

• Develop comprehensive color, material, and surface concepts for both interior and exterior applications across city, regional, and touring bus lines, shepherding designs through to series production
• Take full project ownership, coordinating closely with design leadership, R&D, product management, sales teams, and supplier partners
• Deliver trend and competitive analyses, develop material and color strategies, create moodboards and mockups, and manage prototype approval processes
• Lead color matching exercises and champion sustainable material innovations while maintaining structured documentation of all design decisions
• Present concepts to stakeholders and manage project budgets and timelines

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Design or equivalent qualification
• Minimum ten years of relevant experience in Color & Trim Design
• Strong creative vision paired with solid technical expertise
• Strategic thinking capabilities and excellent communication skills
• Fluent German and English language proficiency (negotiation-level)
• Turkish language skills are desirable but not required
