We are representing a confidential wholesale organization in Mönchengladbach seeking a Strategic Marketing Leader to transform their marketing function from traditional print and graphic operations into a modern, sales-driven marketing organization. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who can bridge strategic vision with hands-on execution in a B2B environment.

Our client operates in the international trade sector with a strong emphasis on technical products and logistics excellence. They value flat hierarchies, agile working methods, and team-oriented collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic transformation of the marketing department, implementing modern processes and performance-marketing approaches that directly support sales objectives
• Develop and execute marketing strategies that measurably support sales teams, contribute to new customer acquisition, and strengthen existing client relationships
• Take strategic ownership of all digital marketing activities including website optimization, SEO, SEA, LinkedIn strategy development, and automation of newsletter and marketing processes
• Analyze market developments and collaborate closely with specialist departments to derive new products, offerings, and sales initiatives
• Oversee the strategic development and creation of all sales materials and target-group-specific product communication
• Coach and lead an existing team through organizational change, fostering agile working methods and establishing a strong "sales-first" mentality
• Establish and continuously monitor relevant marketing KPIs, providing regular strategic reporting to senior management for decision-making purposes

What We're Looking For

• Several years of proven leadership experience in marketing roles
• Technical understanding and strong market orientation with the ability to recognize relevant developments early and successfully translate them into marketing strategies
• Solid expertise in modern marketing tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEA, content marketing, analytics)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and inspiring leadership personality with strong communication skills, analytical vision, pronounced execution capabilities, and high customer orientation
• Fluency in German is required for this position
