Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential insurance services organization seeking a Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist to join their clinical team. In this role, you will work directly with claimants to identify psychosocial and medical barriers, coordinate care, and facilitate positive outcomes. This is a remote position available throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify claimant needs, barriers to recovery, and post-traumatic factors following injury or incident
• Evaluate cultural implications and existing support systems for each claimant situation
• Develop individualized case management plans with measurable goals to improve medical progression and facilitate return to work
• Provide counseling, ongoing assessment, and connect claimants with appropriate community and clinical resources
• Collaborate with claims examiners, physicians, employers, and legal representatives as appropriate
• Create evidence-based case management plans utilizing DSM-5 guidelines and clinical best practices
• Monitor progress toward treatment goals and adjust interventions to achieve optimal outcomes
• Maintain detailed case documentation and work toward timely claim resolution
• Serve as a patient advocate and establish positive, professional relationships with all stakeholders
• Travel occasionally as required

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in social work, psychology, or counseling required
• Active independent clinical license at the master's level required (LCSW, LICSW, LMSW, CIPSW, ISW, LCPC, LPCC, or state equivalent)
• Minimum six (6) years of related professional experience, including at least four (4) years of direct clinical experience
• Strong clinical knowledge of psychiatric disease processes and familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
• Experience conducting psychosocial assessments preferred
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with claimants, medical providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaborative relationships
• Spanish language skills are a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $75,000–$80,000 annually. Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) with employer match, four weeks PTO in your first full year, and additional voluntary benefits.
