CEO, AI Investing

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client building AI-native consumer applications. They are seeking a CEO for their AI Investing division to build and own an entirely new business line focused on helping users understand markets, make investment decisions, and manage portfolios through AI-powered tools.

This is a true business-building role. You will define the product vision, own full P&L responsibility, and lead cross-functional teams to create AI-native experiences across investment discovery, research, portfolio management, and decision-making. The position is based in China.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI investing proposition, product roadmap, and business model from the ground up
• Build AI-native experiences across investment discovery, research, portfolio management, and decision-making workflows
• Develop frameworks for how AI should analyse market information, surface investment opportunities, and support users throughout the investment journey
• Own full P&L including assets under management, customer acquisition and retention, engagement metrics, revenue, and unit economics
• Work hands-on with product, engineering, and AI teams to build and continuously improve the platform
• Build and lead the core investing, product, technology, and commercial teams
• Expand the business into additional investment products and geographic markets

What We're Looking For

• Deep, direct experience in investing, wealthtech, consumer fintech, or investment product development
• Proven track record of owning a meaningful investing product, business unit, or P&L
• Strong understanding of investment products, market dynamics, and consumer investing behaviour
• Excellent product judgement with clear vision for how AI can enhance investment research and decision-making
• Experience building and scaling consumer technology products
• Hands-on operating capability—you must be comfortable working directly through product details, investment workflows, unit economics, and customer behaviour analysis
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build something from zero to scale
