We're hiring experienced over-the-road professionals with 1–5 months of commercial driving experience to operate our dry van fleet across the United States. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation starting at 57–64 cents per mile, guaranteed weekly minimums, and substantial sign-on bonuses.

About the Role

As a CDL-A Company Driver with U.S. Xpress - OTR, you'll operate a modern dry van tractor-trailer hauling freight on long-distance routes throughout North America. This over-the-road position is designed for professional drivers seeking steady miles, reliable weekly income, and growth within an established trucking carrier.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a dry van tractor-trailer on interstate and highway routes
• Maintain an average of 2,000 miles per week with predictable scheduling
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
• Deliver time-sensitive freight while following DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance
• Communicate status updates and concerns directly with dispatch throughout each shift
• Uphold professional driving standards and maintain a clean safety record

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement; hazmat a plus
• 1–5 months of verifiable commercial trucking experience
• Clean driving record and passing background check
• Ability to work independently and manage extended time on the road
• Commitment to vehicle care and professional conduct
• Minimum age 21

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: 57–64 cents per mile based on experience; top performers average $1,650 weekly
• Guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500 on a 12-out/2-home schedule
