About the Role
As an OTR CDL-A driver, you'll operate a commercial truck hauling dry van freight to customers nationwide. This position is designed for drivers with 1–5 months of professional trucking experience ready to build a stable career with a reputable carrier.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial truck safely on interstate routes, averaging 2,000 miles weekly
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Secure and deliver dry van freight on schedule
- Manage logbooks, Hours of Service rules, and dispatch communication
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs promptly
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1–5 months of commercial driving experience
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and DOT compliance
- Ability to work extended road schedules (12 weeks out, 2 weeks home)
- Professional attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Schedule
Earn 57–64 cents per mile based on your experience level. Solo drivers average 2,000 miles weekly with a guaranteed $1,500 weekly minimum pay; top performers in the 80th percentile earn approximately $1,650 weekly. New hires receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Team driving options are available at $0.72–$0.80 CPM split with 5,000 average weekly miles and a $5,000 team bonus. The standard rotation is 12 weeks on the road and 2 weeks home.
