Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor

We are representing a confidential Canadian retail organization in their search for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to recruit across diverse portfolios including corporate functions, distribution operations, and leadership development programs. You'll partner with business leaders nationwide to attract exceptional talent that drives organizational success.

This position demands someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at building relationships, and takes ownership of delivering results. You'll manage multiple priorities simultaneously while influencing hiring decisions that directly impact business performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic recruitment plans in partnership with hiring managers and business leaders to ensure timely fulfillment of talent needs
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for leadership development programs, identifying and selecting future organizational leaders
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across corporate offices, distribution centers, and training programs
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies
• Execute targeted sourcing through LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels to build strong candidate pipelines
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate qualifications, experience, and alignment with organizational values
• Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, candidate selection, and compensation guidelines
• Manage offer negotiations while balancing compensation philosophy, internal equity, and market competitiveness
• Coordinate assessments, background checks, references, and other recruitment activities throughout the hiring process
• Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or related field requiring strong communication, relationship building, and influencing skills
• Professional-level fluency in both French and English, with ability to confidently conduct interviews and communicate with candidates and stakeholders in both languages
• Proven experience building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders in fast-paced environments
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, engage, and attract talent through various sourcing methods
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong sense of urgency
• Comfort working independently in remote environment while partnering effectively with teams across multiple locations
• Experience using ATS, HRIS (Workday preferred), LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment technologies
• Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Legal authorization to work in Canada for duration of employment
