What This Role Involves
Mindrift engages specialists in project-based AI opportunities for top tech companies, focusing on testing, evaluating, and enhancing AI systems. Your role involves crafting competitive-programming problems and their automated graders (test cases + checkers) to train advanced AI coding models.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Write original algorithmic problems with clear statements and sound constraints, along with intended solutions.
- Create correct and deliberately wrong solutions in C++ and Python to test against.
- Develop and strengthen test cases including generators, edge cases, stress tests, and "hacking" tests.
- Design checkers/interactors for problems with multiple valid answers.
- Evaluate the quality of your work by ensuring correct solutions pass and wrong ones fail within time limits.
Skills & Qualifications
- A strong background in competitive programming, demonstrated by a public profile or a Codeforces rating between 1700–2600 (Expert / Master / Grandmaster).
- Fluency in contest C++ (STL, complexity) and comfort with Python.
- The ability to explain why a solution is wrong and construct an input that breaks it.
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
