Responsibilities
- Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and legal pleadings on behalf of corporate clients
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on creditors' rights issues and bankruptcy code matters
- Assist with Chapter 11 restructuring matters, including plan drafting and creditor communication
- Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and creditors' rights disputes
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, client counseling, and complex restructuring transactions
- Review contracts, creditor agreements, and financial documents in connection with bankruptcy matters
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission to the Texas State Bar
- 2–5 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or related commercial litigation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters with competing deadlines
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
