What This Role Involves
You'll serve as a technical specialist in workload automation, translating complex business requirements into elegant, maintainable Automic solutions. Your expertise will enable Bosch's IT operations to achieve unprecedented levels of automation, reliability, and compliance across our enterprise infrastructure. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll identify automation opportunities, architect solutions, and guide implementation from concept through production deployment.
Core Duties
- Design and configure Automic Workload Automation workflows tailored to business processes
- Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions that enhance operational reliability and reduce manual effort
- Analyse existing systems and processes to identify automation opportunities and cost savings
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and optimisation of automation environments
- Integrate Automic solutions with enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms
- Establish automation standards, documentation, and knowledge management practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical solutions
- Monitor automation performance, maintain service levels, and implement continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Proven expertise implementing and supporting Automic Workload Automation solutions
- Solid foundation in IT operations, systems administration, or enterprise automation
- Strong scripting ability in shell, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
- Experience designing enterprise workflows and integration patterns
- Knowledge of IT service management and operational best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with diverse teams
- Relevant certifications (Automic, CA, or cloud platforms) valued
