About the Role

Soliant Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to work full-time in the White Hall area. In this position, you'll develop and deliver individualized educational programs that help students with disabilities achieve their academic, social, and functional goals while fostering confidence and independence in their learning journey.

What You'll Do

• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with each student's unique needs, goals, and strengths
• Deliver specialized instruction in core academic subjects and life skills using evidence-based teaching strategies
• Assess student progress regularly, track measurable outcomes, and adjust instruction based on data and student performance
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated, inclusive learning experiences
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional approaches to make learning accessible for students with varying disabilities
• Maintain detailed records and documentation to support special education compliance and accountability requirements
• Support students' social-emotional development, behavior management, and transition planning toward post-secondary goals

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Current Arkansas teaching certification or special education license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Knowledge of special education law, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 requirements
• Demonstrated ability to design differentiated instruction and create inclusive, supportive classroom environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams
• Patience, compassion, and genuine commitment to helping students with disabilities reach their full potential
