Automation Experience Designer

Join Bosch Group as an Automation Experience Designer based in Londonderry, NH, US. This is a full-time remote position where you'll design intuitive, efficient automation solutions that drive measurable business impact.

What This Role Involves

As an Automation Experience Designer, you'll shape how users interact with automation systems and workflows. In this Business Development role, you'll bridge the gap between technical possibility and user need—creating designs that make complex automation solutions feel seamless, intuitive, and valuable to both internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype automation workflows and user interfaces that optimize for both efficiency and usability
• Partner with cross-functional teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand automation requirements and translate them into clear design specifications
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation to refine automation solutions based on real user feedback
• Create design documentation, guidelines, and standards that guide implementation and ensure consistency
• Assess new automation platforms, technologies, and design approaches to strengthen our design practice
• Support business development initiatives by demonstrating automation solutions and design capabilities to clients and leadership

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience designing user experiences for automation systems, workflow platforms, business process optimization, or related technologies
• Solid grasp of automation fundamentals—including RPA, workflow orchestration, and low-code automation frameworks
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Hands-on experience with user research methods, usability testing, and iterative design
• Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
