About This Position
This is a full-time in-home caregiving role providing hands-on assistance to a male client in Auburn Gresham. You'll work a structured split-shift schedule: mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week (42 hours total weekly). This consistent schedule allows you to develop strong continuity with the client. Proficiency with both manual and electric Hoyer lifts is essential for safe, dignified mobility assistance.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and electric Hoyer lifts for safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Provide personal hygiene support and activities of daily living assistance
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment for the client
- Offer compassionate companionship and build trust with the client
- Communicate observations and updates to the care management team
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow established care protocols
