About the Role
As an Associate Retail Travel Agent, you'll be the trusted advisor helping customers discover destinations and arrange seamless travel experiences. You'll work directly with clients to understand their travel needs, recommend destinations and experiences, and execute bookings across flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and travel packages. This is a customer-facing role in our Toledo retail location where your expertise and personal attention make a real difference in how our guests experience their journeys.
Core Duties
- Consult with customers to understand travel preferences, budget, and scheduling requirements
- Research and recommend flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises, and vacation packages tailored to customer needs
- Process travel reservations and payments through industry booking systems
- Generate and review travel itineraries, confirmations, and travel documents
- Handle customer inquiries regarding bookings, changes, and travel policies
- Identify opportunities to suggest additional travel services and upgrades
- Maintain accurate customer records and transaction documentation
