The Opportunity

Aaamidatlantic is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Associate Retail Travel Agent for our Zanesville office. In this full-time position, you'll be the trusted travel expert our members turn to when planning vacations, business trips, and adventures. You'll combine your passion for travel with genuine service to recommend destinations, arrange bookings, and ensure every trip starts smoothly. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Consult with members to understand their travel preferences, budget, and timeline, then recommend destinations and itineraries tailored to their needs
• Book flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages using industry travel reservation systems
• Research travel options, pricing, and availability to present customers with the best choices
• Sell travel insurance products and memberships that protect members' trips and provide added peace of mind
• Manage bookings, process cancellations, and handle changes to reservations with accuracy and attention to detail
• Address customer questions and resolve travel-related issues professionally and promptly
• Stay current on travel trends, destinations, special offers, and industry updates to provide expert guidance

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you thrive when helping people plan their travels
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail in managing complex travel arrangements
• Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to master travel booking platforms
• Basic knowledge of geography, world destinations, and travel logistics (experience gained on the job is valued)
• Sales ability and genuine interest in matching members with travel experiences
• Problem-solving mindset and patience when handling travel complications
• Availability to work retail hours, including some evenings and weekend shifts
• High school diploma or equivalent; travel industry experience is a plus but not required
