About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Research – Country Feasibility Lead to join their Site Management & Monitoring team. This is a remote position based in the United States.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for feasibility activities within your assigned country or region, working closely with global study teams to evaluate study pipelines, coordinate site-level feasibility assessments, and support early recruitment planning. You will also provide line management to dedicated clinical research staff including Clinical Research Associates and Clinical Study Administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor study and program pipelines to support evaluation of country-level feasibility strategy
  • Participate in global feasibility network sessions to share updates and lessons learned
  • Provide country-specific operational input during feasibility strategy phases, including site survey and interview guide development
  • Serve as first point of contact for feasibility-related questions within your country, triaging materials and invitations locally
  • Review and consolidate local site lists using global databases, medical affairs input, and site intelligence tools
  • Provide country-specific input for early recruitment modeling and scenario planning, including start-up and site activation timelines
  • Coordinate site-level feasibility activities by identifying and connecting with potential sites and investigators
  • Contact selected investigators and collect feedback on study design concepts and protocols
  • Review country-specific feedback with leadership prior to submission to global study teams, including recruitment commitments and operational concerns
  • Initiate study handovers to local study teams after preliminary allocation
  • Support site selection processes post-feasibility by identifying potential sites based on feedback
  • Support local teams with early milestone planning and baseline activities
  • Line manage dedicated groups of clinical research staff, including resource planning, objective setting, and performance management

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or related field
  • More than 5 years of clinical research experience with demonstrated feasibility management expertise
  • GCP certification (current)
  • Strong knowledge of clinical study processes and ICH-GCP guidelines
  • Excellent understanding of feasibility and monitoring processes
  • Knowledge of local and international clinical research regulations
  • Fluency in English required

  • Ability to work effectively with remote collaborators across time zones

  • Ability to champion efficient and effective methods for delivering clinical trials with optimized budgets and timelines
