React Engineer – Remote, Latin America

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software consultancy with operations across the Americas. Our talent team is currently seeking an experienced React Engineer to join their growing development organization on a fully remote basis from Guatemala.

This role offers the chance to work on diverse, high-impact client projects in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly influence business outcomes. You'll collaborate with skilled professionals while working with modern technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Work on large-scale, complex systems that serve multiple client needs
• Create and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Contribute to shared libraries and internal tools as projects require
• Take ownership of your deliverables, meeting commitments on estimates and timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client goals are met
• Apply best practices in software development and maintain forensic attention to detail
• Troubleshoot new and difficult technical challenges as they arise

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (5+ years preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React
• Demonstrated experience working on large, complex systems
• Four-year college degree required
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work
• Understanding of software development best practices and commitment to following them
• Ability to work through complex technical issues independently
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tooling
• Positive mindset with a solutions-oriented approach
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong alignment with client success and team commitments
