Responsibilities
Our client, a confidential technology organization in China, is seeking a Go Lang Developer to join their backend engineering team. We are representing them in this search through Get A Job.ai.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)
- Develop efficient, reliable, and high-performance solutions that meet product and business requirements
- Work with relational database schemas and optimize queries using PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, maintainable systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance
- Contribute innovative ideas, improvements, and best-practice solutions to the team
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience as a backend or systems developer
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, performance tuning, advanced queries)
- Strong understanding of system-level programming using C or C++
- Experience building scalable, distributed systems or microservices
- Familiarity with concurrency models, memory management, and networking concepts
- Passionate about technology, self-driven, and proactive with a builder mindset
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of Cassandra or other NoSQL databases
- Exposure to AI/Machine Learning workflows or integrating AI services
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-native development
- Performance optimization and low-latency system development
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal tech projects
