About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential clean energy organization in their search for an Associate Project Manager, Supply Chain. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, ideal for someone with 1-2 years of project management experience who wants to grow their career in renewable energy infrastructure.
In this role, you'll serve as the primary materials contact for multiple solar construction projects simultaneously, managing logistics schedules, delivery coordination, and client communication from project inception through completion. You'll work with clients and their subcontractors to organize deliveries, coordinate change orders, analyze shipping schedules, and advise on engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with customer project managers and contractors to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with client construction management teams to ensure project milestones are met and handle unforeseen interruptions appropriately
- Work with engineers, architects, and construction personnel to determine optimal delivery approaches based on individual project variables
- Problem-solve to address delays, emergencies, or other issues impacting timelines
- Report progress to internal management, cross-functional teams, and clients as needed
- Work with supply chain and logistics teams on material availability and delivery schedules
- Maintain records, databases, and audit parts lists for quality assurance
- Understand site contracts and technical matters related to solar construction
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of project management experience; solar or renewable energy experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field recommended
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven leadership abilities and capacity to delegate work effectively
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage an ever-changing workload
- Technical understanding of construction methods, contracts, and blueprints
- Strong writing skills for proposals and reports
- Ability to estimate work effort and timelines for solar projects of various sizes
- Team-oriented mindset with adaptability and sound decision-making
- Physical ability to occasionally lift 50+ pounds and perform site-related tasks
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay
