Single Use Technology Expert

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential life sciences organization seeking a Single Use Technology Expert for a remote-based role in the United States. Our client is a global leader in bioprocess solutions, and this position plays a critical role in advancing their single-use technology strategy across biopharmaceutical accounts.

In this role, you will work directly with commercial teams and scientific stakeholders to drive adoption of single-use technologies, protect existing business, and lead complex technical projects from design through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and achieve revenue growth targets for the single-use technology portfolio in collaboration with sales teams and field application specialists
• Monitor existing business and implement action plans to track single-use product usage in clinical and commercial drug production across assigned accounts
• Interface with Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) and Process Development scientists to design and rationalize single-use assemblies appropriate for various molecules and regulatory frameworks
• Lead project management for assigned single-use technology projects, coordinating internal groups and communicating with customers using both commercial and technical expertise
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality, and Engineering departments to ensure positive customer experiences on long-term single-use design projects
• Maintain current expertise in single-use technologies, biopharmaceutical modality platforms, and evolving regulatory guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in process development or process/manufacturing support within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Strong technical knowledge and extensive industry understanding of pharma/biotech operations
• Technical selling experience, ideally minimum 1 year
• Hands-on experience with biomanufacturing and/or process development/Manufacturing Science and Technology
• Self-driven individual who can successfully operate in a matrixed reporting structure
• Project management experience with ability to manage complex issues using innovation and process improvement
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape for single-use technologies (ISO requirements, USP qualification methods, Extractable/Leachable standards, etc.)
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
