Senior Business Process Analyst

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential government services organization seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to support mission-critical operations in Washington, DC. This is a fully remote position supporting activities that require balancing Agile delivery, project tracking, and business analysis expertise.

This role emphasizes hands-on project management, delivery coordination, and Agile execution. You'll ensure initiatives remain on schedule, risks are managed, and cross-functional teams deliver high-quality solutions effectively while maintaining transparency across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities including schedule development, milestone tracking, dependency management, and risk/issue mitigation
• Maintain and manage project plans, dashboards, status reports, and delivery roadmaps using Jira and Confluence
• Track progress across multiple Scrum and Kanban teams, ensuring alignment between planned work and delivery commitments
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Monitor sprint health metrics (velocity, burndown, capacity, flow) and proactively address delivery risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria with clear traceability
• Document end-to-end processes and identify areas for optimization, automation, or reengineering
• Support cross-functional teams by removing impediments and improving communication flow
• Leverage AI tools for project tracking, workflow automation, and documentation updates

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience
• 5+ years of project management, business analysis, or Agile delivery experience
• Proven experience tracking projects, managing schedules, and writing requirements
• Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project management and requirements tracking
• Experience developing user stories and managing Agile workflows
• US citizenship required
• Ability to obtain BI Full 6C (T4) clearance

Preferred:

• Familiarity with refugee and immigrant population or social programs
• Understanding of ITIL or other process improvement frameworks
• Experience integrating business and operational data into Jira and Confluence for reporting and workflow automation
