Associate – Clearwater Financial Group

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a licensed Associate to provide comprehensive support to their advisory practice. This is a remote position requiring residency in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone.

In this role, you will work directly with financial advisors to serve clients' financial needs, focusing on securities, investment advisory products, and insurance solutions. You will be employed by and report to the financial advisor while maintaining registrations through established industry sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Handle sensitive client communications with discretion, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through verbal and written responses
• Facilitate and co-present product-specific seminars and workshops
• Counsel prospective and current clients on suitable financial products and investment advisory services
• Complete product applications and accept securities trade orders, including unsolicited trades
• Conduct substantive research and due diligence to support securities recommendations and investment advice
• Identify criteria for fund selection and track performance against indexes, specifically for WRAP accounts
• Explain insurance coverage, analyze exposures and policies, and provide recommendations
• Issue certificates of insurance, endorsements, binders, and insurance contracts
• Prepare for and follow up on client meetings in collaboration with financial advisors
• Drive marketing initiatives including direct-mail campaigns, seminars, and community events
• Participate in business planning for the practice
• Obtain client financial and suitability information

What We're Looking For

• Securities registrations: Series 7 and 66 (or Series 6 and 63) required
• Appropriate insurance licenses and appointments for all life, health, and variable products
• Must hold or obtain securities registrations and insurance licenses in all states where support work will be conducted
• Willingness to complete state-specific training for Long Term Care if required
• 2+ years of demonstrated customer service experience preferred
• Previous administrative or secretarial experience desired
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high-quality work with frequent interruptions
• Strong capability to maintain integrity of sensitive and confidential information
• Analytical thinking skills with planning and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability
• Customer-focused approach to all interactions

Note: Background verification and fingerprinting will be required as part of the hiring process for FINRA registration submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
