Role Overview

As Assistant Manager at our Brooklyn store, you'll support the general manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Core Duties

• Supervise and mentor store staff, ensuring consistent service quality and team development
• Oversee food preparation, order accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships to minimize waste
• Monitor sales performance and support the team in meeting store targets
• Handle cash management, reconciliation, and opening/closing procedures
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction
• Coordinate scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail, food service, or similar environments
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic financial literacy
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health code compliance
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
