Applied AI, Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer – (Internship)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for an Applied AI, Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer Intern based in Paris. This is a 3 to 6 month internship opportunity working with cutting-edge generative AI systems deployed across high-stakes industries including finance, manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector.

As an intern, you will work directly with applied AI engineering teams to drive customer adoption of advanced AI products and solve complex technical challenges. This role offers hands-on experience deploying state-of-the-art GenAI applications and collaborating across research, engineering, and product functions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to deployment of cutting-edge GenAI applications, driving technological transformation with enterprise customers
• Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex customer implementation projects
• Work cross-functionally with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback and real-world deployment insights
• Facilitate technical adoption of AI solutions among enterprise clients in regulated industries
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of machine learning deployments in production environments

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in AI, data science, computer science, or related field from a top-tier engineering school or university
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and natural language processing techniques
• Basic understanding of MLOps and deploying machine learning use cases
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work in Paris for 3 to 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Linux shell environments
• Experience working in HPC (high-performance computing) environments
• Publication record in AI or related field
