About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential organization seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position where you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Prepare financial reports and statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards and company policies
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial operations
- Assist with multi-entity or international accounting operations as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as an Accountant, Staff Accountant, Accounting Analyst, or similar accounting role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience supporting multi-entity or international accounting operations is a plus
