The Opportunity

At Remote, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance, Tax & Accounting team. This role is perfect for someone with post-qualification accounting experience who thrives in an international environment. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing financial risks, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights that support Remote's global growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations in EMEA timezone.
• Prepare and review financial reports to provide accurate and timely information for decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support treasury operations by managing cash flow and working capital.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes are efficient and effective.

What We're Looking For

• Post-qualification accounting experience in EMEA timezone required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and accounting packages.
• Ambitious, curious, and motivated individual who can work asynchronously in a global team environment.
