Account Manager Retail Media / Marketplace Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a leading retail media agency in the DACH region, and we're seeking an Account Manager to join their Munich team. In this role, you will:

• Manage 2–4 client accounts alongside experienced account managers, gradually taking on increased responsibility
• Oversee advertising campaigns on Amazon Ads, Zalando, and other major marketplace platforms
• Work daily with proprietary AI-powered analytics and automation tools to optimize campaign performance
• Interpret AI-generated insights and translate them into actionable strategies for budgets, bids, and content optimization
• Prepare performance reviews and client presentations, participating actively in client meetings
• Provide structured feedback to internal systems and contribute to continuous process improvement

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in retail media, marketplace management, or performance marketing
• Hands-on knowledge of Amazon Ads or comparable platforms such as Zalando, Otto, or AboutYou
• Strong understanding of key performance indicators including TACoS, POAS, ROAS, ACOS, and CPA
• Genuine interest in AI tools and enthusiasm for adopting innovative working methods
• Excellent client communication skills with a passion for continuous learning
• Very good German language skills and good English proficiency
